Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site work)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Primis. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for monitoring security access, conducting assessments to identify risks, and developing and enforcing security measures to protect our systems from unauthorized access.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring: Monitor security access and conduct regular security audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Security Measures: Develop and enforce security measures to protect our systems from unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus software.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, including SOC 2 Compliance Framework and GDPR.
  • Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security breaches, providing impact analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to educate staff on security best practices and manage security tools.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory changes, and implement new security measures as needed.


Requirements:

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and antivirus software.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Knowledge of SOC 2 Compliance Framework and GDPR.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for conveying security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
