In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with the design, implementation, and management of our organization's DNS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain DNS solutions utilizing Microsoft DNS, Infoblox, and BIND technologies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Configure and manage DNS settings, including resource records, zones, DNS views, and policies to ensure precision, consistency, and adherence to standards.
  • Quickly identify and rectify DNS-related issues to minimize service interruptions and ensure seamless availability.
  • Establish security protocols to safeguard DNS infrastructure against potential threats and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Active Directory team to ensure seamless integration of DNS services with Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Monitor and enhance DNS performance while maintaining thorough documentation of DNS configurations and processes.
  • Anticipate future DNS infrastructure needs to effectively support business expansion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address DNS-related requirements and support organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with proficiency in Microsoft and Infoblox DNS technologies.
  • Solid understanding of DNS concepts, protocols, and standards.
  • Practical experience with Infoblox Grid architecture and automation through scripting.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting DNS-related issues and network fundamentals.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
