About the Role:

The Thorn Baker Group is seeking a skilled Groundwork Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 360 driver to assist in groundwork operations.
  • Hold a current CPCS of NOPRS card and be experienced in working around piling.
  • Assist in groundwork operations as required by the site manager.
  • Work as a Groundworker / Banksman, holding a CSCS card and a Banksmans card.
  • Perform all aspects of groundwork.
  • Operate a Dumper driver, holding a CPCS card or NPORS.
  • Dig trenches and perform drainage work, levelling off and back filling.

About You:

  • Hold a valid CSCS card.
  • Hold a CPCS card for 360 operation.
  • Hold a Banksmans card.
  • Have a can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Have two commercial relevant references.

Desirable Skills:

  • Confined space or other relevant tickets.
