Landscape Construction Foreperson

Scandor are seeking a Landscape Construction Foreperson to join this BALI National Award-winning commercial landscaping company on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the company undertaking a wide range of hard and soft landscape construction projects for public sector and commercial clients. The company generally works within a tight geographical area usually travelling within an hour of our depot and offices at Colden Common. As a Foreperson you will be leading and working within a small team in order to complete projects to specification and too a high standard.

Working with the contract Manager to schedule works to deliver the contract specification fulfilling the client’s needs.

Provide a responsive and professional service on site, dealing promptly with any issues that arise and escalating any items necessary to the contract Manager to resolve.
- Enthusiasm and drive to develop their career and grow with the business
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Experience in areas such as groundworks, paving, drainage, fencing, play installations, safety surfaces and soft landscaping.
- Demonstrable experience of effectively leading and managing a team.
- First Aid & CSCS certification would be beneficial.
- Experience in operating mechanical plant together with the relevant plant operator tickets such as NPORS/LANTRA/CPCS beneficial.

A full, clean driving licence is essential, with the ability to drive up to 7.5t vehicles, advantageous but not a requirement.

Salary is dependent upon experience with additional benefits such as the profit related bonus scheme & pension.
