Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Refuse Truck Driver to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment. As a Refuse Truck Driver, you will be responsible for collecting general waste throughout the week, with occasional assistance on green waste or recycling collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect general waste and recyclables from designated areas
  • Operate a refuse truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with the collecting crew to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Full UK Driver's Licence with Cat C
  • Digi Card
  • CPC card
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • No more than 6 points on your licence

Working Hours and Conditions

You will be working Monday to Friday from 06:00 and usually finish around 2pm, with some flexibility required.

Hourly Rate and Contract Type

You will be paid £11.82 for the first 12 weeks, with an increase to £15.31 following 12 consecutive weeks of work.

Contract Type

This is a temporary contract.
