Job Opportunity: Class 2 Refuse Driver

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team. As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be responsible for driving a Class 2 refuse lorry around a set route, following a route planner and liaising with the transport team on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a Class 2 refuse lorry around a set route, following a route planner
  • Liaise with the transport team on a daily basis
  • Support the refuse loader/collector in their duties
  • Maintain a safe environment for the public and loaders
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £14 per hour, with holiday pay accrued on top of the hourly rate
  • 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE, inclusive of statutory holiday
  • 24hr on-call support
