Key Responsibilities
The primary function of the Blood Collection Specialist is to facilitate services that support community nursing within the Integrated Community Team (ICT). This includes ensuring that patients receive timely blood collection services based on properly completed requests from healthcare professionals.
- Recognize and address the physical, psychological, social, cultural, and environmental needs of patients and their families while in their homes.
- Collect high-quality blood samples from patients in a home setting.
- Plan and manage daily work tasks and activities in a dynamic environment.
- Operate both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
