Position Overview:
The Children and Young People's Directorate (CYP) is dedicated to ensuring the safety, well-being, and educational success of children and young individuals. Our mission is to maximize the effectiveness of every intervention to foster impactful and lasting change for children, youth, and their families when needs are identified. We are committed to the continuous enhancement of our services through collaborative efforts to guarantee that our initiatives are of the highest quality and efficacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate initiative within the defined scope of the role.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of the Signs of Safety framework and possess practical skills in employing solution-focused intervention strategies.
- Effectively implement solution-focused methods to achieve positive outcomes.
- Assess risks and concerns while concentrating on solutions to foster an environment conducive to change.
Essential Qualifications:
- A relevant graduate-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of ongoing professional development.
Additional Information:
- Hybrid work model: 23 days per week
- Total working hours: 37 hours per week
This role involves collaborating with children, young individuals, parents, and families to address early indicators of social, emotional, health, or behavioral challenges, aiming for sustainable improvement.
