Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a rapidly growing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial resources of various projects to maximize cash flow and margin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the commercial management of multiple sites to optimize cash flow and margins
  • Pricing and management of variation accounts, both upstream and downstream
  • Resolving commercial issues and providing commercial and contractual expertise to the project team
  • Liaising with clients and site delivery teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
  • Coordinating and managing change orders and early warnings
  • Administering contracts, including JCT and NEC
  • Preparing cost valuation reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
  • Experience in working on social housing refurbishment projects and measured term contracts
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Projects/Astra Projects
  • Ability to coordinate and liaise with direct labor/labor gangs
