Position Title: Reach Truck Driver

- Week 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Week 2: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Compensation: £12.30 - £13.81 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent placement
Job Overview: We are looking for a dependable and skilled Reach Truck Driver to assist in our warehouse operations. This position requires significant physical activity, including manual handling and heavy lifting, making physical fitness and endurance crucial. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to a rotational shift schedule, meeting the dynamic needs of the role.
Key Duties:
- Reach Truck Operation: Efficiently operate reach trucks to transport, stack, and retrieve products within the warehouse.
- Manual Handling: Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks, including loading and unloading goods manually.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow warehouse staff to ensure smooth and effective warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Reach Truck Driver is required, along with a valid reach truck certification.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly.
- Shift Flexibility: Must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule, including early mornings and late afternoons.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail with the ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
