About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager to join our team at ZEISS Vision. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring our Consumer Eyecare products are sustainable and responsible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our corporate and customer goals.
  • Lead the development of sustainable and responsible supply chains, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support country launches of Consumer Eyecare products, including regulatory compliance and sustainability strategy alignment.
  • Manage external regulatory and technology consultants/partners to supplement internal expertise.
  • Develop and implement a sustainability roadmap for Consumer Eyecare products, ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations across all countries.
  • Provide sustainability and regulatory leadership in the management and development of suppliers.
  • Champion and lead projects to improve sustainability across product and packaging.
Requirements
  • Proven academics and 3-5 years of experience in a sustainability role with a proven track record of delivering relevant outcomes.
  • Experience working with external agencies and suppliers.
  • Ability to travel globally, including the US, Asia, and Europe.
  • An inquisitive mind to stay up-to-date with sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-focused.
