The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the financial operations department, which includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, income collection, bank reconciliation, VAT, and payroll. The aim is to ensure the delivery of a streamlined and effective service while managing all aspects of insurance, including maintaining adequate coverage, timely claims administration, and contract oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the administration of the organization’s bank accounts and corporate credit facilities.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all financial services and employer-related tax matters.
  • Utilize BACS software for efficient payment processing.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained across the financial team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum AAT qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least two years of proven experience in the finance sector.
  • Proficiency in Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable systems.
  • Experience with VAT and insurance processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to process and interpret data accurately within set deadlines. A good command of Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups) and Word is essential, along with experience in integrated financial systems.
