Electrical Supervisor Job Description

Bridges Electrical Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations on various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical installations on site, ensuring adherence to BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure all site teams adhere to Health and Safety legislation and regulations
  • Verify that all electrical installations meet the highest standards, in compliance with project quality plans and inspection and test plans
  • Implement and promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment
  • Mentor and coach Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates, and Apprentices
  • Represent Bridges in a professional manner, supporting business goals and maintaining a positive company reputation

Requirements:

  • ECS gold card
  • SSSTS / SMSTS
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor
  • Experience in the water, industrial, or construction industry
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable)
  • Excellent client engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage own and others' workload
  • Experience in site managing electrical projects
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification
  • CCNSG (or similar)
  • Full UK driving license
