We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Valve Technician to join our team at IKM Testing UK. As a key member of our valve service team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of valves and actuators.
Key Responsibilities- Valve Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on valves and actuators, including stripping, assessing, and assembling various types of valves and actuators.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior technicians and other team members as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Project Management: Manage and coordinate valve maintenance and repair projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that valve maintenance and repair services are delivered to the highest standards.
- Education and Qualifications: Educated to secondary level, with a strong background in valve maintenance and repair.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a valve service and/or valve manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of valve technology and maintenance practices.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong technical skills, including the ability to strip, assess, and assemble various types of valves and actuators. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
