We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible FLT Warehouse Operative to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a FLT Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of general warehouse duties, including but not limited to operating power tools, monitoring production lines, inspecting finished products, and ensuring quality control procedures are followed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has just passed the FLT assessment or is looking to gain experience in a warehouse environment. Our Warehouse Operatives all have a flexible approach to work and can work in a quick and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing pallets for dispatch.
  • Basic inspection and quality checks
  • Working with specifications
  • Intaking goods. Inspecting and recording on good in.

You will be happy working in a busy, fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure while being flexible to the needs of the business. You will also be responsible for keeping the production area and factory grounds clean and tidy to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Some experience of working with wood and/or power tools is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience of working as a General Operative, Labourer, Production Operative or similar.
  • A willingness to learn and work in a warehouse environment.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Attention to detail with great teamwork.
  • Physical stamina and strength.
