Lecturer in Hairdressing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lecturer in Hairdressing to join our team at Gi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students at various levels, including level 1-3 barbering/hairdressing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and assess teaching and learning to ensure excellent outcomes for students.
  • Develop and deliver vocational work and employability skills through the curriculum.
  • Provide pre and on-course guidance to support learners through to successful outcomes.
  • Take overall responsibility for the academic and pastoral care of a group or groups of students.
Requirements:
  • Minimum level 3 in hairdressing and/or barbering.
  • Ability to deliver to students at all levels and abilities.
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualification (support provided if not held).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
