Senior Mechanical Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join our client, a leading M&E contractor in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a circa £10 million MEP package for a major office refurbishment project in Canary Wharf.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working within the commercial fitout sector, with a proven track record of delivering projects through to completion. They will be responsible for:

  • Procurement of subcontractors, kit, and plant
  • Technical submittals
  • RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor, and subcontractors
  • Value Engineering where applicable
  • Programming of works – using MS Project or Asta Project
  • Health & Safety management (RAMs)
  • Commercial Responsibility, assisting with subcontractor variation accounts working alongside project-specific Quantity Survey
  • Management of variations
  • Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers, and supervisors)
  • Progress meetings with subcontractors, client, and internal meetings
  • Overseeing commissioning stages
  • Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover
