About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities across two sites in the North. This is a full-time permanent position that requires a dedicated and experienced professional to ensure the safety, security, and functionality of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all aspects of property and facilities are fit for purpose, legally compliant, accountable, auditable, and ethically, environmentally, and socially responsible.
  • Conduct proactive maintenance and ensure that all group facilities are well maintained.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and schedule renovations.
  • Create and agree on the overall budget for planned preventative maintenance.
  • Prioritize and facilitate Health, Safety, and Environmental issues.

Requirements

  • Previous role with direct and indirect management experience.
  • Experience with facility management and relevant regulations.
  • Multi-site experience.
  • A qualification in Health & Safety, such as NEBOSH or IOSH equivalent, would be an advantage.
  • Environmental qualification/experience of ISO 14001 implementation would be an advantage.
