T.A.D. Facilities Management is seeking a skilled Authorising Engineer to join our team. As an Authorising Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of high and/or low voltage systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of working with high and/or low voltage systems. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The role will involve working with a small and friendly team at T.A.D. Facilities Management, from our office in the Woodseats suburb of Sheffield. Depending on the home base and wishes of the successful individual, there is scope to provide a hybrid working model/setup by agreement.

The successful candidate will be an established Authorised Person within the Health or MoD sector who aspires to take the next step in their career progression and be an AE. They must be an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer, or is someone who wishes to attain these accreditations within the next 12-18 months.

In addition to the provision of mentoring, the successful individual will be offered a package of £50-60k including company car.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in electrical engineering
  • Proven track record of working with high and/or low voltage systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Established Authorised Person within the Health or MoD sector
