About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a Paediatric Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing expert nutrition and hydration advice to children and young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nutrition and hydration assessments for children and young people, including those with feeding tubes and complex medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition and hydration plans to support the health and well-being of our patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, parents, and carers to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in paediatric dietetics to provide evidence-based advice and care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to paediatric dietetics and nutrition.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian with a degree in Dietetics and valid Health and Care Professions Council registration.
  • Postgraduate experience in paediatric dietetics and home enteral feeding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical information and develop effective care plans.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
