Teaching Assistant Opportunities for University Graduates

Prospero Teaching is partnering with an all-through school in Kensington and Chelsea to recruit university graduates for teaching assistant roles. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain experience in education and progress into a salaried teacher training programme.

Job Specification:
  • Location: Kensington and Chelsea
  • Type of work: Graduate Teaching Assistant - No previous education experience required
  • Contract type: Temporary to permanent
  • Pay: Minimum rate of pay £95 per day
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support students with a range of needs, including EAL and SEN
  2. Run intervention sessions and booster groups with pupils who require additional support
  3. Run tuition groups in your subject-specific area
Requirements:
  • Degree with a 2:2 minimum
  • C and above in Maths, English, and Science
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Two professional references
