Support Worker Nights

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis, working approximately 15 hours per week. As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escort and assist individuals in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Support our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping individuals achieve their aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility and creativity in working with individuals and their families.
  • Personal care experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
