Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Soft Landing Manager to join our team at Sodexo, working with our clients in Kingston-upon-Thames. This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of technical expertise and soft skills to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and mobilize FM services, ensuring seamless delivery of Hard FM engineering project works.
  • Manage commercial risks associated with costs and contracts, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Support segments in a professional manner, aiding decision-making, cost management, and governance.
  • Review project requests, analyze information, and support end-to-end cost management duties, including feasibility estimates, value engineering, and cost control.
  • Negotiate with contractors and clients around project costs, verifying actual costs versus set budgets.
  • Liaise with clients, end-users, accounts, operations, and senior team colleagues to ensure works meet legal and compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in construction/Hard maintenance environment.
  • Ability to balance day-to-day performance with longer-term opportunities.
  • Customer service experience and effective communication skills.
  • Project Cost Control experience, from feasibility to final account.
  • Experience in managing budgets and project finance.
  • Presentation and professional service skills.
  • Effective organization, coordination, and planning.
  • Maintenance of good client relations, internal and external.
  • Governance and adherence to processes.
  • Supply chain management experience.
  • Influencing people and negotiation skills.
  • IT skills using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail.
