Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered care and support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate, starting at £11.78 per hour.
- Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (terms and conditions apply).
- Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour (terms and conditions apply).
- Wagestream, providing flexibility to access up to 40% of your earned wages.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on client-centered practice.
Working Hours:
Typical shifts are 8am-8pm, with night shifts available from 8pm-8am.
