Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare, a leading provider of specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care services.
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred services to individuals with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective therapeutic plans, promoting engagement and empowerment in our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Lead group therapeutic sessions to help individuals develop and improve their speech and communication skills.
- Build one-to-one relationships with service users, encouraging engagement and promoting recovery.
- Manage a designated caseload, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
- Contribute to audits and research in the provision of treatments, demonstrating specialist skills in dealing with complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
- Experience of working with families.
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development.
- Annual salary of £45,259.30 pro rota.
