About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Production Optimization team at Wood. As a Flow Assurance and Metering Measurement Allocation Specialist, you will play a key role in helping our clients unlock solutions to their complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on flow assurance and metering measurement allocation to clients across various sectors, including oil and gas, green and blue hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilization, and storage.
  • Develop and implement solutions to optimize production and ensure energy security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects and meet client expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Process or Flow Assurance engineer or Metering and Allocations Consultant within one or more of the sectors listed above.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong customer focus and team-working skills.
  • Readily adaptable with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant Engineering Degree for specialist area.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Chartered Engineer or Scientist.
  • Fellow of an appropriate professional institution.
  • Commercial awareness of project delivery.
  • For Flow assurance - proficient and hands-on experience with major flow assurance software packages.
  • For Metering - working knowledge of Industry standards.
  • A proven track record in management of flow assurance or Metering and Allocation studies.
  • Good knowledge of HAZOP, process safety, and risk assessment.
  • Local market knowledge would be seen as an advantage.
