About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at ABS Commercial Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the IDNO electricity networks sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and revenue expansion
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IDNO businesses, DNOs, ICPs, and CPOs
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including EV charging, battery storage, and renewables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the IDNO electricity networks sector, including grid connections, EV, renewables, and BESS processes
Requirements
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, and/or account management, preferably in the electricity sector
  • Degree qualified in electrical engineering or significant experience in the electricity field
  • Strong technical knowledge of IDNO, DNO, ICP, and CPO backgrounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Full right to work in the UK
