We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Alfreton. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects from customer brief to delivery, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
- Create manufacturing route cards to optimize production methods, liaising with internal departments and external resources as needed.
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, manual machining, and metal fabrication techniques.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor and control project costs, timelines, and resources.
- Qualified to HNC level or equivalent.
- Knowledge of precision engineering processes, including CNC machining, manual machining, and metal fabrication techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Office software, particularly Excel, Word, and Project.
- Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and specifications, breaking down details and processes required for each operation.
- Capable of working unsupervised and using initiative.
- Good eye for detail with a methodical approach to tasks.
- Competitive salary up to £50,000 DOE.
- 33 days holiday, Christmas shutdown, 7.5% pension, and death in service benefit.
- Contracted hours: 40 per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, and Fridays 7:30am-2pm.
