Interim FP&A Project Manager

Our client, a dynamic business in the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Project Manager to support their financial excellence and strategic decision-making processes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Finance SLT and Board to provide critical thinking and develop, build, and execute financial strategies. This will involve navigating multiple priorities and projects, including managing cost pressures and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the positioning of financial forecasting, budgets, and reporting performance with the Finance teams.
  • Produce timely and meaningful insights, reports, and projections using robust, accurate, and validated data sets.
  • Review and develop the commercial evaluation of new business and product opportunities across multiple jurisdictions to ensure alignment with company strategy and financial goals.
  • Provide high-standard expertise, strategic partnering, and financial analysis support to executive and SLT stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong track record of delivering financial excellence and strategic decision-making support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and build effective relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Location: West Midlands (2 days pw onsite)

Contract length: 6 months +

Candidate Rate: £650-£750 per day (outside IR35)
