Instrumentation Project Manager

Opportunity to work at a fast-paced and innovative chemicals business in the West Midlands
Our client is a family-owned company located in the West Midlands, specialising in organo-sulphur synthesis and high-pressure hydrogenation. They supply organic chemistry services to a global market, manufacturing intermediates for the Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, and Specialty Chemical industries.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the full life-cycle management of chemical plant instrumentation projects, including conceptualisation, design, and commissioning. They will also have the ability to manage the modification of plant instrumentation systems and create/modify instrumentation drawings using CAD software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full life-cycle of chemical plant instrumentation projects, from conceptualisation to commissioning.
- Manage the modification of plant instrumentation systems via a management of change system.
- Create/modify instrumentation drawings using CAD software.
- Work within the chemical process or other similar regulated industries.
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications/Training:
- Recognised Instrument apprenticeship and educated to HNC level as a minimum.
- Several years' experience with the management of instrumentation projects as a minimum.
