Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation: Develop precise and comprehensive cost estimates for fit-out projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Tender Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders for fit-out projects, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and submitted punctually.
  • Cost Analysis: Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to ascertain requirements and formulate detailed cost plans.

Supplier and Subcontractor Engagement:
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather quotes and negotiate advantageous terms, ensuring both cost-effectiveness and quality standards are met.

Budget Oversight:
  • Formulate and manage project budgets, ensuring expenditures are monitored and maintained within established limits.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges in the estimation process and propose effective solutions.
  • Provide cost-saving alternatives and solutions without compromising quality or performance.
  • Stay informed on market trends, material costs, and industry best practices relevant to fit-out projects.
  • Foster collaboration with project managers, architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and thorough project estimates.

Qualifications:
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator within the construction sector, particularly focusing on fit-out projects.
