Estimator Job Description

Caralex Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-regarded housebuilder in Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and controlling budgets, maintaining a build cost database, and producing cost plans for new build residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and controlling budgets for new build residential projects
  • Maintaining a build cost database to ensure accurate cost planning
  • Producing cost plans for new build residential projects
  • Working closely with the land team on land appraisals for potential sites
  • Collaborating with the sales team on specification and pricing
Requirements:
  • Experience in estimating or quantity surveying for a housebuilding development company
  • Knowledge of estimating software and cost planning techniques
  • Ability to work closely with the commercial team to achieve project goals
