Service Charge Manager

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead our Service Charge Team, responsible for setting rents and service charges for our tenants and calculating service charge and major works contributions for our leaseholders.
The successful candidate will have specialist knowledge of leasehold management, legislative and regulatory requirements, and a broad range of skills and expertise in rent and service charge setting.
Key responsibilities include leading a team of 6, ensuring income is maximised whilst residents are fully engaged, and working closely with other Council departments and key stakeholders to achieve excellent performance and high quality outcomes for our residents.
The role also involves being the lead for utility payments to suppliers for Housing, scrutinising all bills against the meter reads and ensuring the Council's interests are protected.
About YouYou'll have excellent communication skills, both face to face, over the phone and in writing, and be able to understand and interpret complex information and present to a variety of audiences.
Able to work collaboratively, across teams and departments, you'll be customer focussed, financially astute, and have great attention to detail.
