About the Position:

The Management Recruitment Group (MRG) is seeking a Utilities Services Head to lead and supervise the utility operations that underpin a significant infrastructure initiative.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Forge and sustain partnerships with utility service providers, negotiate agreements, and guarantee service execution.
  • Provide updates to senior management regarding risk management and assess program outcomes concerning budget, timeline, and quality.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to ensure the uninterrupted and effective provision of utility services, collaborating with utility providers and internal teams.
  • Ensure utility operations adhere to legal, regulatory, and safety standards, and enforce safety measures.
  • Oversee financial planning for utility services, including cost forecasting and expenditure optimization.
  • Identify, manage, and alleviate delivery risks, and prepare for emergencies with contingency strategies.
  • Ensure the appropriate maintenance, operation, and enhancement of utility systems and infrastructure.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of ten years of experience in infrastructure, particularly in utilities for large-scale projects. Experience in collaboration with leadership, executive management, and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Over 10 years of experience in client-side organizations or leading prestigious project management consultancies.
  • More than 10 years of experience on large-scale projects with multi-million-dollar budgets.
  • At least 7 years of experience in implementing, supervising, and managing utility services.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction, or related disciplines.
