SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a great all-through school in Barking. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs to achieve their full potential.

The Role:
  • Provide individualized support to students inside and outside the classroom to facilitate their participation in activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and consideration.
  • Assist pupils with their educational and social development on an individual or group basis.
Personal Specification:
  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology or Criminology from a Top 30 UK University.
  • Desirable experience working with children in an educational environment.
  • High expectations of learning and teaching.
  • Able to be a positive role model.
  • Collaborative working skills with a range of children.
