Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Manager in leading the Adult MASH team and developing strategies to improve safeguarding outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure effective safeguarding practices.
  • Work closely with partner agencies to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination of services.
  • Provide supervision and support to social workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to achieve better outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience of working in a safeguarding role, preferably in a local authority setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and service users.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
