About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to lead our inpatient team. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional OT services within our established and supportive environment.
As Lead Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage a small caseload of clients with complex needs, utilizing evidence-based and client-centered approaches to deliver effective interventions in various settings.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff members through supervision, appraisal, and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of OT services, ensuring they align with best practices and meet the evolving needs of our patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support patient recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of our OT pathway and interventions.
Essential Requirements
- BSc/MSc/PG Dip Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Post-registration experience in acute mental health
- Proven ability to provide both individual and group therapy interventions
- In-depth knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation assessment tools or equivalent
- Experience in providing clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff
- Commitment to continuing professional development
