We are excited to present an opportunity for skilled professionals to join a leading Global Energy Company.

Role Overview:
This position involves working as an Engineering Technician or Site Technician, primarily in a designated area with occasional travel required within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Engineer, your main duties will include:
  • Conducting daily operations and maintenance tasks, including fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Performing planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns on generator sets to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Managing a variety of large industrial engines in the North East and York area, handling tasks from simple oil changes to extensive engine rebuilds and fault diagnosis.
  • Overseeing gas field management, including regular gas balances to control landfill gas production and prevent migration, as well as replacing air pumps and pipework.
  • Utilizing advanced remote management systems via laptop to maintain engine performance and minimize downtime.
  • Being on-call to ensure engines operate efficiently and without issues.
  • Monitoring emissions to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and professionalism of assigned sites.
  • Carrying out maintenance on large industrial flares and compressors.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, heat, or landfill gas disciplines.
  • Familiarity with Landfill Gas systems and generators is a plus.
  • Gassafe accreditation is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer systems.
  • A valid UK driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
