Cost Consultant / Senior Cost Consultant

We are currently seeking a cost consultant / senior cost consultant to join our Leeds office. The successful candidate will support project leaders in delivering high-quality service, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, and enhancing our culture of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for project completion
  • Undertaking commercial management services with limited supervision
  • Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in cost management of projects
  • BSc in quantity surveying or equivalent
  • Private commercial sector experience, ideally in offices, residential, hospitality, major projects, fit out, and refurb
  • Expert level Excel user
  • Proficient in CostX or other Cost Planning software
  • Sustainability and Data Skills, including carbon assessment and Power BI
  • Contract administration skills

Requirements:

  • Pre and post-contract experience
  • Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills
  • A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible
