Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality pre and post-procedural care for patients in the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Ensure effective patient management by offering clinical leadership within the team.
- Engage in the pre-assessment process for all patients scheduled for cath lab procedures.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of cardiology services, including Cath Lab, Cardiology OPD, and Cardiology POA.
Core Duties:
- Enhance practices related to health and wellbeing assessments.
- Foster a safe and secure working environment that prioritizes health.
- Drive improvements in service quality and patient care.
- Support patients in exercising their rights while promoting equality and diversity.
- Lead knowledge sharing and professional development within the cardiology specialty.
- Oversee the application of technology for monitoring and treatment purposes.
Qualifications:
- NMC registration is essential.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of post-graduation experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Cardiology experience is preferred, although training will be provided.
- Experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles for various cardiac procedures.
- Demonstrated competence in a range of nursing skills, supported by clinical knowledge.
- Completion of mandatory training, including infection control and health and safety.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and relevant software packages.
- Strong professional assessment capabilities.
