Logistics Operations Coordinator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Logistics Operations Coordinator to enhance our supply chain management team.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Logistics Officer and the operations team to deliver essential on-site operational and administrative assistance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the registration process for drivers, coordinating their dispatch, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off Night Shifts
Compensation: £27,540 Annually
Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Operations Coordinator include:
Effectively and accurately dispatching drivers along with all pertinent paperwork Meeting customer and internal performance indicators as necessary Ensuring accurate trailer numbers are recorded in the internal tracking system Monitoring the service board to confirm the correct week number is assigned to the appropriate trailer for depot operations Communicating with drivers via the gate communication system to inform them of site protocols prior to entry, when needed Completing all daily compliance tasks Keeping staffing levels updated and accurate Performing internal reporting duties Downloading vehicle and driver digital tachographs as required Managing the Transport SystemRequired Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Logistics Operations Coordinator position will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar capacity with a solid understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks. A flexible, articulate demeanor with the ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.Additional Information
