Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Dandara Limited, reporting to the Commercial Director. The successful candidate will provide budget control for a mix of triple tenure sites, including Private, Affordable, and Build to Rent residential schemes.

• General project coordination and administration
• Preparation and negotiation of initial site budgets
• Subcontract procurement and obtaining risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation
• Site visits and inspections, coordinating with management and subcontractors
• Subcontract payments, variation claims, and final account settlements
• Liaising with other departments and external consultants on cost issues
• Issuing interim payment applications to RSL Partners
• Chairing sub-contract pre-order meetings and attending project review meetings
• Preparing monthly cost reports for cost control throughout the development programme

• Proven experience in quantity surveying within the residential housebuilding sector
• Ideal degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with construction contracts, current building regulations, and industry standards
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
