Position Summary
The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will become part of a seasoned team during a pivotal growth phase for our organization.

This role entails overseeing project delivery in accordance with company policies, procedures, EHSQ standards, and financial objectives. The position involves both office and site-based responsibilities, necessitating site visits to align with project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in tender handover and project initiation meetings.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of all contract details and specifications.
  • Establish an email distribution list for each project.
  • Ensure clarity of individual roles among team members and manage team dynamics and challenges.
  • Develop and present the project timeline, outlining critical milestones.
  • Generate RFIs and lead the final design process.
  • Submit technical documents and ensure follow-up for approvals.
  • Oversee procurement and delivery of significant items in accordance with the project timeline.
  • Closely manage the budget in collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor.
  • Break down labor-only and specialist packages as necessary.
  • Supervise all elements of the cost plan.
  • Establish and maintain the labor tracking system.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to assess progress and quality.
  • Update the progress report on a weekly basis.
  • Compile the monthly high-level report for senior management review.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
  • Background in trades or engineering with a focus on Construction/Project Management.
  • Proficient in MS Project and the MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines.
