We are collaborating with a prominent Contract Catering organization to find an Interim Culinary Operations Manager for their northern region. This role primarily involves managing Business & Industry (B&I) sites and is structured as a Monday to Friday position.

The Culinary Operations Manager will oversee approximately 10-12 locations, predominantly situated in the Manchester area, extending from Derby to Sunderland. While candidates based in Manchester are preferred, we welcome applications from all regions.

The majority of the locations focus on staff dining services, with some hospitality elements such as buffets, sandwich lunches, and formal fine dining events. Therefore, we seek a versatile chef with comprehensive experience across various culinary disciplines.

Typical working hours will be from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional evening events as needed. Responsibilities will range from menu development to holiday cover and presentation of point-of-sale materials, varying based on the specific site.

Assignments will generally be structured on a week-to-week basis or for a few weeks at a time, allowing for a smoother transition into each role without constant relocations.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed, and hotel accommodations will be provided when necessary, along with a £20 meal allowance for evenings spent away from home.

We are in search of a motivated Culinary Operations Manager who ideally possesses experience in contract catering or has a solid understanding of corporate dining requirements.
