We are seeking dedicated patient care assistants to join our dynamic team in the Maternity Unit, specifically on the labour ward, to assist midwives in providing care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal patients.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Supporting patients with their daily care requirements
  • Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
  • Conducting observations and performing venepuncture
  • Providing assistance in theatre settings
  • Helping with meal service
  • Engaging in housekeeping and administrative tasks

The position requires flexibility to work various shifts to ensure coverage for our 24-hour service, which includes day, night, and weekend shifts.

Candidates must exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Previous experience in a customer care or healthcare setting is essential. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
