About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Junior Merchandiser to join our team at Motatos, a European grocery e-commerce company dedicated to reducing food waste and promoting sustainability. As a key member of our UK team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse on-site product performance to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement campaigns and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Monitor and report on promotion and campaign performance to inform future strategies
  • Optimise product placement, categorisation, and customer journey to enhance search and conversion rates
  • Publish products and manage pricing and multibuys to drive sales
  • Own newsletter activity, including daily newsletters, automations, and customer segmentation, working closely with the global CRM team

Requirements
  • At least 2 years of e-commerce merchandising or CRM experience in a fast-paced, digital retail business
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Comfortable with being proactive and taking initiative in a start-up environment
  • Confidence to collaborate and develop strong relationships across the organisation
  • A logical approach to testing and adopting continuous improvement
