Senior Site Manager

Our client, a leading developer, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee a flagship, multi-phased scheme in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional build housing schemes and high-volume construction, with experience in taking units from foundation to handover.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the site team, reporting to the Contract Manager
- Collaborate with the Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, or Trainee Assistant Site Manager
- Chair sub-subcontractor meetings to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure the development is completed in accordance with the specification and build programme
- Manage RAMS and maintain a full understanding of H&S protocols
- Conduct snagging of sub-contractor work and ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate calls off and materials, providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
- Conduct NHBC stage inspections and control additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
- Drive quality at every stage of the construction process and ensure the development passes internal and external inspection processes
- Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others
- Monitor and control the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
- Oversee completions, CMLS, and handovers
- Proven experience as a No1 on a traditional build scheme
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy site
- Capacity to train and manage staff who report to you
- New build, residential experience
- CSCS Black certification
- First Aid and Scaffold awareness
