Technical Training Manager Opportunity

Hunter Adams is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Training Manager to join our Edinburgh-based client on an interim contract.

About the Role:

In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in reviewing, revamping, and leading the company's technical training program. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a comprehensive review of the current technical training program to assess departmental needs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Partnering with HR and department heads to understand competency requirements and align training programs accordingly.
  • Overseeing the management and development of technical competencies within the team, covered by external providers.
  • Liaising with external training providers to ensure alignment with internal training objectives.
  • Tracking and measuring the success of training initiatives and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Possess previous HR experience in a related field, ideally with a blend of operational HR and Learning & Development experience.
  • Experience in conducting training needs analyses.
  • A passion for learning and development and a commitment to employee success.

Contract Details:

  • This is a 6-month interim contract position based in Edinburgh.
  • Flexible on the number of days worked on-site, but require full-time commitment.
