Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Investment Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic brokerage team at PGS LTD. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior brokers in managing client accounts, executing trades, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support and Relationship Management:

    • Assist senior brokers in managing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
    • Respond to client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information regarding their accounts and transactions, and resolving any issues promptly.
    • Support the onboarding process for new clients, including collecting required documentation and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Trade Execution:

    • Execute trades on behalf of clients under the supervision of senior brokers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client instructions and market conditions.
    • Monitor market conditions and update senior brokers on relevant news and trends that could impact client portfolios, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
    • Assist in the preparation and execution of trading strategies, including conducting basic research and analysis, and identifying opportunities for portfolio adjustments.

  • Account Management:

    • Help manage client portfolios, ensuring that all client information is up to date and accurate, and providing regular portfolio reviews and recommendations.
    • Prepare and distribute account statements, transaction reports, and other relevant documentation to clients, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
    • Track and report on client account performance, identifying opportunities for portfolio adjustments and providing actionable insights.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 1 year of experience in a financial services role, preferably within a brokerage or trading environment, with a strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.
    • Experience in client-facing roles is highly valued, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, senior brokers, and other stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience with trading platforms and CRM systems highly advantageous.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
