About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring that our high standards of quality are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a high level of food safety and quality control, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that all stock is ordered and stored correctly.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Qualifications: Hold a culinary qualification, such as a degree in culinary arts or a professional chef's certification.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, with a strong focus on quality and presentation. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Personal Qualities: A passion for food and customer service, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
